Peter Deilmann Heidelberg
The brand new 5-star MV Heidelberg will set sail in March 2004 on the Rhine River. She will carry 110 passengers in all-outside staterooms, each measuring 190-square feet. Second to the Mozart, the Heidelberg will have the largest staterooms available on the rivers of Europe.
All but four of the staterooms on the MV Heidelberg will boast full length French doors, instead of windows.
Her onboard food and service experience will be comparable to the rest of the Deilmann fleet, with a ratio of 2.5 passengers for every crew member. This means about twice the crew versus competitive river vessels, affording Deilmann the opportunity to offer the best in food and service.
Her net charter rate will be approximately $21,000 per night for 110 passengers. This rate includes port charges. Gratuities are $12 pp/day. Charters include two complimentary champagne receptions with snacks. For a mere $10 pp/night, add unlimited regional wine with dinner.
Deilmann was named number one for food and number two for service of all cruise lines by reader's of Conde Nast Traveler in Jnauary 2002. This same level of expertise will be brought to the Heidelberg.
