Sandy Cohen
Vice President, Incentive Sales
Sandy joined Buy the Sea in 2006 to manage our Incentive House Accounts in the United States and Canada. She comes to us with a great deal of knowledge and over seventeen years of experience in the cruise and hotel sales industry.
Sandy began her career in New Orleans as National Sales Manager for Crystal Vacations, the in-house tour operator for Carnival's Crystal Palace in Nassau, Bahamas. From there, Sandy moved to Florida and accepted a position as National Sales Manager for Paradise Island Vacations. The company later became Sun International Representation, Inc., the in-house tour operator for The Atlantis Resort and the Ocean Club on Paradise Island, Bahamas.
She was then recruited by Norwegian Cruise Line, as an Account Manager for Incentive Sales, where she was responsible for all incentive group sales, full ship charters and meetings for the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest and Canada. It was during this time that Sandy developed a passion for the incentive industry and forged strong ties with some of the major incentive houses in North America . What followed, was a two year move to North Carolina with her husband David, to pursue a partnership in a publishing company. There, Sandy learned all aspects of running a small corporation. But it was her love of travel and the excitement of being part of the incentive travel industry again that has brought her back to South Florida and Buy The Sea.
