Shari Wallack
President
Shari Wallack is the founder and president of Buy The Sea. She has twenty years of experience in the cruise and all-inclusive resort industry. Her career began as Director of Corporate and Incentive Sales at Club Med in New York. During that time, she introduced the Club Med 1 (now the Windsurf) to the incentive marketplace, attracting clients such as Maritz, Carlson and Business Incentives who began to charter the vessel for exclusive events. It was Shari's love of the sea that brought her to South Florida in 1992 to join Renaissance Cruises as a Director of Charter Sales, where she concentrated on niche markets. The following year, she was recruited by Celebrity Cruises, in time to help plan the sales and marketing for their upcoming series of new builds, the Century, Galaxy and Mercury. During that time, she developed strong relationships with incentive customers all over the US and Canada. She also learned the inner-workings of the cruise industry and how to manage a successful shipboard incentive movement. After completing the third inaugural in 1997, Shari left Celebrity Cruises, and the rigid corporate structure to pursue her dream of becoming independent. She partnered with Worldwide Cruise Associates, where she became an expert at brokering cruise product to incentive houses and corporate clients, in effect changing the way they did business. Shari founded Buy The Sea in March 2000.
