Shari Wallack
President
Shari Wallack is a native New Yorker and the Founder and President of Buy The Sea. She has over twenty years of experience in the cruise and all-inclusive resort industries, and in 2010 was named one of the top 50 entrepreneurs in South Florida. She began her travel career as Director of Corporate and Incentive Sales at Club Med. Shari relocated to South Florida in 1992 to join Renaissance Cruises as a Director of Charter Sales. The following year, she was recruited by Celebrity Cruises, in time to help plan the sales and marketing for their upcoming series of new builds. During that time, she developed strong relationships with incentive customers all over the US and Canada. She learned the inner-workings of the cruise industry and how to manage successful shipboard group and charter incentive movements. In 1997, Shari left Celebrity Cruises, and the corporate world to pursue her dream of becoming an entrepreneur. She partnered with Worldwide Cruise Associates, where she mastered the concept of brokering cruise and resort products to incentive houses and corporate clients, in effect changing the way they did business. Shari founded Buy The Sea in March 2000 and has never looked back! She is most proud of her team's accomplishments - having been recognized as Celebrity Cruise Line's incentive account of the year in 2006 and Royal Caribbean's top incentive producer in 2008 and 2009. Additionally, she is delighted that Buy The Sea is a certified woman-owned business.
